Dr. Bartz, partner, joined Kliemt & Vollstädt in January 2007. He was previously an attorney in the international law firm Noerr. Before practising as an attorney, Dr. Bartz was an academic researcher in the department of Prof. Dr. Peter Schüren at the University of Münster. He was there awarded his doctorate on a subject in the field of collective bargaining law.

Dr. Bartz advises and represents employers and executive personnel on all matters of individual and collective employment law. One of his main practice areas is employment law in the context of reorganisations and advising on questions and disputes in works constitution law. Dr. Bartz also specialises in questions of collective bargaining law, in particular opting out of collective bargaining arrangements, and in the law of industrial action. In addition, he is highly experienced in drafting employment contracts and contracts for directors and board members, in particular in relation to profit-related payment systems. Dr. Bartz is a regular speaker at employment law seminars. He is a lecturer on employment law at Heinrich Heine University, Düsseldorf.
