Dr. Kerstin Seeger has been a member of Kliemt & Vollstädt's employment law team since March 2009, first as an academic researcher and trainee in her optional law firm placement, and since March 2011 as an attorney. She chose to specialise in employment law at an early stage: following her law studies at Mannheim University, which she completed with the first state law examination, she studied for her doctorate and at the same time worked for two years as an academic researcher in the employment law department of an international law firm in Düsseldorf. Dr. Seeger's supervisor for her doctoral thesis was Prof. Dr. Frank Maschmann, chair of civil, employment, business and commercial law at Mannheim University. Her topic was "The internship generation".

Dr. Seeger advises national and international enterprises on all questions of individual and collective employment law. Her main practice areas are conducting proceedings for protection against dismissal, drafting contracts of employment and specific types of termination agreements, and advising on questions of works council law.
