Following several years as an attorney in the employment-law
department of Clifford Chance Pünder, Dr. Vollstädt has since
2002 been a partner in Kliemt & Vollstädt in
Düsseldorf. Before this, he was employed for many years in the department
of Professor Dr. Ulrich Preis, the well-known employment-law specialist,
and was a lecturer at the University of Düsseldorf.
Dr. Vollstädt advises companies on all areas of employment law, both
in court and out of court. His field of activity extends from drafting contracts of
employment to negotiating redundancy schemes. One particular focus of his work is on giving employment-law
advice in the course of corporate acquisitions, including the supervision
of subsequent restructuring. He is the author of a large number of specialist publications
and sought after as a speaker at seminars in his Practice areas.
